I considered those for my car. I had stock, early belts in my '71. I saw a photo of the ones you referenced, installed, and decided against them; looked too bulky.

I have them installed. My wife and I like the fact that they can retract. Sometimes you have to help them a bit going back in. The top portion is bulky but we can live with that.

There is a plastic cap that covers the bolt that attach it to the car but I have a hard time keeping it close.

Not a perfect product, but it solved what we wanted to solve which was the non-retractable belt.

I have seen those also, the Pumpkin is a 70 and is stock also, I had my belts re-webbed by seat belt planet. I am happy with them.

Any one have a picture of these installed? @Cairo94507 when you say bulky did you find yourself hitting your head on them or just aesthetically bulky? It seems like a good solution for me, but not if they get in the way.

I bought them, installed them, and thought the reel was giant and I didn't want my head banging off of it so I removed them.

Us, we put them in because we were not happy with the belt not retracting and in your way when entering the car. Old belts are still fine and available in the spare parts box
